Affordable Smoke Machine Integration (Smart Plug Support)

I want a more affordable way to connect my smoke machine to ConnectedRoom. Currently, it requires a SwitchBot Hub and a Bot, which is too expensive. I'd like to be able to use a standard smart plug or a cheaper alternative to trigger the smoke machine.

    There is a reason why you cannot use smart plugs for cheap smoke machines:

    The machine needs to warm up before being able to produce smoke. This process takes up to 5 minutes after turning the machine on.

    By plugging a cheap smoke machine on a smart plug, it will turn on when there is a goal just to warm up for 5 minutes and not produce any smoke.

    SwitchBot allows the machine to stay warm and press the button when there is a goal, so it stays in a ready state.

    Smart plugs can be used if your smoke machine is DMX controlled, which you can plug a DMX controller on a smart plug instead.

    But then DMX compatible machines are $150+ and controllers are $45+.

    What you are asking is impossible.

    The cost has a reason.
