There is currently no way. Maybe in the future, but it is not planned.

I actually got it working in a pretty janky way.
In SmartThings I created a virtual switch and a virtual lock (Alexa only allows virtual locks or contact sensors to trigger a routine) which makes the second step required.
1. I have ConnectedRoom trigger the virtual switch on when a goal is scored.
In SmartThings I set up an automation that anytime the virtual switch is on, the virtual lock unlocks.
I set an Amazon routine that triggers when the virtual lock unlocks.
Obviously this is a pretty in depth work around, but I mostly wanted to try it for my own curiosity.

Hahaha! This is awesome!
Technically, if ConnectedRoom had a Alexa integration, it would be that exact same way.
ConnectedRoom would either appear as a Virtual Button and Routine could be triggered when that button is pressed.
ConnectedRoom would simply press that button when an Action is triggered.
Same can be done with Google Home.
The reason it is not currently done, is simply due to other bigger features taking over on priority.

If there is a way to allow ConnectedRoom to control a lock device (a virtual one in this case) through SmartThings the second step could be removed.

So when you say “virtual lock”, you mean a device that acts as “Locked/Unlocked”?
Basically, I could add support for locks and make them work like Smart Plugs: on/off state for locked/unlocked
