Connecting govee light strip

I purchased and installed the 16.4 ft govee strip light as a tv back light. I connected my govee account with the api but I can’t get the strip light to show up as a device to create actions.

    Hi Marshall,

    Make sure to connect the Strip to Wifi in the Govee app.

    After you connected it, it should appear inside ConnectedRoom once you click “Reset device cache” at the bottom of the devices list

      Thanks. I mistakenly got the just Bluetooth strip light🙃 that would explain why it’s not working
