F1 question - need to pick a team?

Really happy to see integration for F1. Something I’ve wanted for years!

Question around functionality. I’m mainly looking for Hue color changes when flag events happen. Yellow flag, red flag, double yellow, green etc. How does / will this work when we need to select a team? Will there be an option for general track scenarios?

    Hi,

    You can create a new Action and select Flag - Green, Flag - Caution and Flag - Red for the triggers.

    This will automatically apply the correct colors to your lights when a flag happens.

    You can also create a seperate Action for each and create different effects for each if you want.

    F1 support is expected to be very basic, with bugs, as we continue working with our data partner to develop more realtime features for F1.

    Here is a little overview of the planned features:

    1. More telemetry data for new screens

    2. Positional data for cars for the new Racing ActionView screen

    3. Racing Scoreboard update to integrate weather, news, highlights and new slides on the sidebar.

    Racing will evolve and is currently in the Top 3 of priorities for 2026 so far, after World Cup of FIFA and new Scroll features.

      Thanks for the reply Guillaume! So the fact that I have to pick a team when setting the action should not affect things? I figured just choosing “racing” and “any team” might force it to include other series like NASCAR etc.

        I advise you do not pick a team in the Action or it will make it not trigger. This is something that needs to be fixed.

        Making the Action “any team” will not trigger NASCAR unless you schedule a NASCAR race in the Calendar

            Japan GP was broken. We did some correction during the night for the next one on May 3rd
