As for Cleveland, this is mainly to make colors more vivid for LED displays. A maroon color will just display badly on LED screens since it’s too dark.
There have been feedback about that 2 months ago, I disabled color correction and immediately regretted following advice as it just looked like shit 🤣

Hi, thank you for your feedback.
Feel free to change the team colors for your liking by going to Teams → NCAA → Ohio States and change the Scoreboard colors to the ones you feel are right.
I will still take a look into optimizing them, but don’t wait for me as there are so many teams and option to modify them is already in the app.
