Streaming Service Integration

The new split screen options for screens is awesome. It got me thinking how cool it would be to tap into a streaming service for one of those split screen boxes. For example, you link your YouTube TV account to ConnectedRoom and now you can select a split screen display for one of your connected screens and display a YouTube TV stream in one box and a scoreboard (or any other screen type) in another. I’m reaching for the stars here I know lol

    Integrating an over the air tuner option might be a good starting point and require less development and integration than the streaming providers, at least as a starting point.

    I love this idea. Would be perfect for the projector I just set up as a side screen.

    I like that.

    There is something in development on ConnectedRoom OS that will allow that.

    For normal scoreboards, this will not be possible due to limitation of Web technology and the security layer platform adds to prevent cross-site requests.

    ConnectedRoom OS will allow to use the new screen type in development called Browser, which will also be available to use inside Split Screen and SportsTicker Wrap, when running ConnectedRoom OS.
