Video/audio lag on portrait scoreboards.

I have two Fire TVs i use in portrait mode for my scoreboards. The video animations lag and stutter, trigger later than other actions (lights/audio), and once they do trigger it makes the audio lag and stutter. If I put them in landscape mode there is no issue, so its only portrait mode that has problems.
